What is a Family-School Compact?
As part of our Title I plan, Ringgold Primary School jointly develops, through meaningful consultation with parents, a school-family compact that outlines how families and our school will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership to help children achieve the state’s high standards. The school-wide compact stresses the importance of communication between families and teachers. RPS families are given the opportunity to provide compact input through meaningful consultation with school staff throughout the school year. Parents have the opportunity to review and adjust the compact at Parent Advisory Council meetings. Family-School Compacts should be used at home and at school in parent-teacher conferences.
Where can I find our school's Compact?
Family-School Compacts are included as a section of our school's Parent & Family Engagement Policy. To review our Policy and Compact, please click HERE.
Parents are encouraged to be involved in the development and revision of the Title I programs, including the policy, compact and/or schoolwide plan. If you find any portion of this program unsatisfactory, submit your comments or suggestions to Gina Haynes, Catoosa County Title I Coordinator, at 706-965-2297.
